On Saturday Dec. 1st at the South Point Casino, Chai Charities held it’s second charity poker tournament of the year. Pizza and food was generously donated by Grimaldi’s on Eastern Ave. From the 40 entries, a raffle and other donations, $2777 was raised for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. This money will be used to send underprivileged kids to the clubs for free! This brings the total money raised for the year by Chai Charities to $5283! Thanks to the staff at South Point and the volunteers Sarah, Crystal, Jon, Crecelle, and Wendy for making the event possible! We also want to thank Clay Buck from the Boys and Girls Clubs for stopping by and saying a few words. We sincerely thank all of the players and hoped you enjoyed the tournament! Next year we are hoping to expand our number and variety of events. If you are interested in attending future events, please make sure to follow us on social media! Thanks again and I hope everyone is running good on and off the felt!
