5k for ALS

In September 2018, the world lost the most beautiful woman to ALS. Lisa Wittenberg was a lively, athletic, and generous person. She had a way of making everyone feel as if they were her best friend. It was disheartening that a strong woman like this would end up paralyzed and unable to take care of herself and her beloved family.

Upon being diagnosed, she did everything in her power to combat the disease. This included taking part in a clinical trials, and even traveling to Washington DC to speak to congress about “The Right To Try” bill. This was later signed and put into effect by President Trump. Lisa was also deeply involved with the ALS chapter of Southern California. She was the face of ALS in various capacities including the LA marathon that year. Unfortunately, after only 1 year if being diagnosed, Lisa lost her battle with ALS.

Please help us remember Lisa’s life and her courageous fight against ALS by making a donation on her behalf. We hope to raise as much money as possible, so that no family has to experience what the Wittenberg family experienced. Thanks so much for your support and we look forward to the event in Lisa’s memory!
